How do I pay for the service?

SpamDunk bills its customers for the off-site filtering service and hosting service on a monthly basis. BorderWare can be purchased outright or financed.

Do you do home accounts also?

Is my filtered email still private?

Absolutely. The filtering process is an automated one. SpamDunk are happy to have individual confidentiality agreements with customers upon request (over and above the standard confidentiality agreement in the terms and conditions).

What are False Positives?

False Positives are legitimate emails that get mistaken for Spam. As the saying goes, “one man’s spam is another man’s newsletter”, which is why SpamDunk ensures that mail it is uncertain about is fully reported on and easily able to be re-called.

Is Dr Jeff Obed available to talk at private functions?

What happens with False Positives?

SpamDunk uses a unique technology that notifies an intended recipient if a message is caught as spam, and allows him to release the message from quarantine for delivery. This is achieved without any action by the sender.

This system effectively guarantees that if a genuine (i.e. not a spammer) wants to send an email to a SpamDunk user, the message WILL be delivered – regardless of how aggressive the anti-spam filter is set.

In other words, using SpamDunk it is possible to reach the near-ideal spam filter characteristics – almost 100% of spam stopped and NO GOOD EMAILS LOST.

What do I need to use the SpamDunk service?

As long as you have your own e-mail server, you do not need anything else to use the SpamDunk service. With SpamDunk you do not have to buy, install or maintain software on any servers, desktops or laptop PCs in your organisation. SpamDunk is a simple subscription service, and once activated for an email domain, all email passes through the SpamDunk filter engine before it reaches its destination.
